Facial liposculpture is an effective and common procedure that can be used to change the overall appearance of the face. It is often used to reduce the appearance of a double chin or other areas of excess facial fat to create a more attractive facial shape. The process is fairly simple and low risk in nature, especially if it is performed by a surgeon who has a lot of experience, and can be a great way to achieve slight alteration and weight loss with liposuction.

The surgeon will carefully assess the patient’s individual circumstances before performing liposculpture surgery. It is important to not be too aggressive when removing the fat from the face as some fat, especially in the cheeks, is important in order to maintain a youthful appearance. After all, the goal of facial liposculpture rejuvenation is to improve the patient’s overall facial appearance, so the surgeon will take great care not to remove too much facial fat.

A skilled surgeon will generally use tumescent liposculpture techniques, as this gentle method makes it easier to remove the proper amount of fat without creating a bumpy or uneven skin surface. Using this method, the surgeon first fills the fatty areas of the face with a special solution before performing the procedure. This solution contains a local anesthetic, which helps to numb the area so that sedation or general anesthesia is not necessary. The solution also contains ingredients that help to reduce bleeding during the procedure by constricting the blood vessels.

The fat is removed by using very small cannulas, which are basically small tubes connected to a syringe or suction device. Liposculpture liposuction is a good solution for individuals who have small fat deposits that have not responded to diet and exercise. It is quite safe as long as the patient is in good health. Complications are quite rare, and if they do occur, are generally quite minor. Because there is no need for general anesthesia, the cost of liposculpture is less than standard liposuction operations, which is another reason for its popularity.
